Okay, well the more I hear about this, the more outraged I become. I find it absolutely reprehensible that Utah, along with other states, are allowing parents to intimidate and threaten the school districts so my child can't watch our President speak on education. God forbid we actually teach our children to respect our Leader, regardless of your political affiliation. It is disgusting that our children aren't "allowed" to watch President Obama speak to our youth about the importance of education and staying in school, about setting and following through on goals. Really????? I don't recall uproar when the first President Bush did the same thing, speaking to the children of this country about the dangers of drugs, I don't recall people freaking out thinking he was really just trying to brainwash the young "democrats" to become "republican". I don't care what political party anyone belongs to, but I firmly believe our children should be taught to respect the President and be able to listen to what he has to say on education and the current state of our Union. We are building our children's future now, what are we teaching them with this "ban".
Okay, sorry, I had to get this off my chest. I am so sick of the uproar and the newsworthiness of this story, I could puke! Listening to parents ramble on about the harm this will do gets under my skin. Maybe after the speech we could all listen to old AC/DC records backwards and get our satanic message from them, then we could cut chickens heads off and just go crazy... Really people... Find another crusade, I see no harm in my son listening to the leader of our country speak about the importance of education, but I am a crazy, left wing liberal, so what do I know?

A little slice (er nibble) of heaven!
Okay, so this post is not about my kids at all. Well maybe they were the inspiration for my new favorite thing in the whole wide world, but it was me who did it and can't stop doing it...
Do I have you intrigued yet? I mean what could be so incredible that I can't stop myself from hoarding and then lying about them to my kids, "nope, don't know where they went"... hehehehe from inside my room, tucked under my covers popping one after another into my mouth. The cold explosion as I bite them in half and "uhhhh huuhhhh" there it is HEAVEN.
I wont keep you waiting anymore as to the secret identity of all this yummy goodness, grapes!
Ok grapes you say, "NO, not just any grapes, FROZEN GRAPES!"
I get them home from the store wash and let them dry completely and then pop them in the freezer and wait... and wait... and wait.... and. Well, you get the picture. I actually look forward to that first pop from the grape, it is so refreshing and for me so much better than cookies or sweets, which that is huge for me and my sweet tooth. I would eat these morning, noon and night if there weren't some major digestive repercussions I would later have to deal with. So for now, I eat in moderation the totally yummy goodness of the FROZEN GRAPES! Mmmm, gonna have to grab a few more before bed. Oh wait, no kids there aren't anymore! ;-)
Can someone get me my hubby to feed me my grapes.... you know all romantic like! Ya right!
