Merry Effin' Christmas

Merry Effin' Christmas to all our family and friends. We love you all and wish you a happy and healthy holiday season and new year! May God Bless you today and throughout 2009.

Sorry for the title, but it is a long running joke in my family! It makes me laugh everytime I say it and it works for more than just Christmas. But anyway, I wish that all my friends and family had a Merry Christmas and that Santa Claus made it to all the kiddies homes. I know he stopped here and dropped off too much stuff. Oh well, the kids loved it and had such a blast opening everything.

Oh no, I hope Santa left the kids enough toys!?!

Thanks Uncle Eggy for our fishies, we are so excited. They have named them Dora Boots and Spongebob. B has a pink betta and T has a blue betta. They are mesmerizing to watch and we have, for hours.

Oh my gosh, more presents! yeah!

"Barack Obama mommy, I love him!!!!!" from the lips of my daughter, she absolutely loves Obama and will let anyone at anytime know it. I don't know of a three year old that gets as excited as her whenever they say his name or show his face on tv, she gets crazy excited! That's my girl! :-)

Princess boots for B!

More to come later.... I am exhausted!

Happy Birthday my little boy!

Where has six years gone so quickly? It has gone into the brown eyes and brown hair of my approximately 4 foot tall little boy. It has gone through taking him to his first t ball game, his first soccer game, his first friend's birthday party, his first trip to see the Yankees play (when he was only six months old) until has last one this past summer in NYC. It has gone to him being in kindergarten and telling me hes "not a baby mom, I'm a big boy!" When, how, NO! I want this to stop now, I want him to stay this innocent and careless age that he is and tell him the older you get the more repsponsibilites you get, you will get your heart broken, you will hopefully succeed most of the time, but you will fail now and then. You will be the starting shortstop for the Yankees when you finish high school, I know no pressure there right?
T baby, I love you so much. I love your pictures you draw for me to say you are sorry when you have done something wrong and almost always they are flowers, I trained my boy right, he brings me flowers, now if I could just get him to train my husband... Another rambling for another day.
Today is about the most precious boy, it is so hard wearing your heart, quite honestly, just out in the open where everyone, and I mean everyone, can see you break when your kids are struggling and how you fall down silly laughing cause I've just thought of the funniest thing he has said, although I know most wont even think it is remotely funny, but what the hell. I am ramblin as I am extremely tired and apparently quite emotional, so this is not going to be proofed before being sent, sometimes its just funner that way.
Anyway...
Happy Birthday to you...
Happy Birthday to you...
Happy Birthday to my sweet little buddy angel baby getting too big too quick Tristan
Happy Birtday to you...
Now my birthday wish for you is that you stay 6 and not a day more. I just had 5 pretty well figured out and now its gone.
I love you, more than could ever be explained, but I Love You!
Be Safe, Be Good, Love God, Be Loving to your family and friends and have respect for those who don't and never will have what you have. You are one amazing kid T and I love you kiddo!
Happy Birthday Spidey!

Another T-ism...

Out of the mouth of babes... I can't stop laughing at T's comment on the way home from school today.

T was telling me quite an elaborate story, which he tends to do. I was hesitant in believing him and asked "are you pulling my leg a little?"

"I'm FOR RIZZLE MOM!!!!" He says.

What? Do I have a mini Snoop Dog on my hands?Where does this stuff come from?

hahahahaha...

Arriba Los Chargers!

Just back from a great trip to sunny and HOT Cali! The reason for the trip was to see the Chargers (of course we told the kids it was to see Mickey). We headed to sunny CA hoping to see the Chargers get their first win, after getting screwed against the Broncos, yes I am still bitter! Anyway, we bought the tix way back earlier in the year, long before Favre was a Jet. Needless to say, I wasn't super excited to see the Jets play, that is until I heard Brett Favre was there. Although I am a Chargers fan, ya gotta love Favre.

We stayed in Riverside at J's grandpa's house the first night and the kids were so excited it was warm enough to swim in their pool. They swam all day the first day and wore themselves out. Well, as worn out as they get.

After a fun day of swimming and letting Brenley meet her great grandma Sue and Papa Jess, we headed down to San Diego, where we rented a condo about 300 feet from the sand and the Pacific Ocean. As you can see the kids had a great time building sand castles and running and playing in the ocean. J even had a great time boogey boarding.

We spent the whole first day at the beach and then on Monday we headed out to Qualcomm Stadium for the Monday Night Football game between the New York Jets and the San Diego Chargers. We all had our jerseys on and went and chilled for awhile at the tailgate party in the parking lot. T and J played football, we listened to the band and best of all, we watched the Chargers kill the Jets. My favorite player, Antonio Cromartie had two interceptions, one for a touchdown and almost had a third. It was a great game, filled with fans fighting (as always there) and Brett Favre, which was really cool to see him play.

The next day we headed out to Sea World where the kids, and me too if the truth be told, had so much fun watching the dolphins and killer whales, the penguins and the fun Journey to Atlantis ride. It was well worth it going, the shows were absolutely so entertaining.

We LOVED the "Shamu" show. We were setting a little bit back, but still in the soak zone and as you can see... WE GOT SOAKED.

We spent the next day in Disneyland and had so much fun. B had never been there before and T was a lot smaller, so they both got to go on a lot of rides. T's fave, Pirates of the Caribbean, was definitely not B's favorite, she cried! We spent only a day there, I could have done more, but we crammed every second of that day with rides and fun. I already want to go back to Disneyland again. B's favorite part was meeting all of the characters: Mickey, Pluto, Tigger, Winnie the Pooh and more. She blew them kisses and gave them hugs!

We spent the last day at the Huntington Beach Pier and walking around there. I love that area, great shopping, good food and great people watching. There is always something going on there. Once again, our trip came and went just like that. Now its time to plan the next one...
